soooo. yes it has been over a week since i last updated, and that is because i have been bussyyyy. last week was basically work, work, work. then on friday i had an interesting doctor's appointment. i ended up going there mainly to get the HPV shot, which i reccomend you get because its a really good shot to get! but also, i told the doctor about what happened to me on July 3rd in Florida. Incase you don't know, I ended up being rushed to the ER becasue of a heat stroke. I had collapsed in a florida resturant after going temporarily blind and dead. I had an oxygen mask on, checked my blood then ended up being rushed in an ambulance to the nearest hospital. WHAT FUN! Anyways, they basically said that it was a heat stroke and that I could sign myself out, which I did. I was fine for awhile but the hospital suggested I tell my doctor, which again, I did on Friday. She orded an EKG, which I did yesterday, and the results came back normal. So now, we need to go from there, possibly an MRI. Because, last night I had an unbearable headache where I was in bed for nearly 3 hours in tears, after alot of migraine medication I was okay. I don't really know whats going on with me, my body is falling apart!
So as of my health kick, its still there, but I have been eating less the past few days because I feel sick and stuff but once I'm better, I'll get back to it!
This week will be full of cleaning my house and working, and resting so I dont kill my body lol. We have a big family party on Sunday that we need to get ready for! YAY. Okay I need to get back to work, taking the kids to the park. Will update again soon!!!

my oh my
this is going to be a busy week. tomorrow is pretty much work, plus i think i will stop at the library and pick up a couple books to read. i used to love to read, but just lost interest over the years, now i think i want to get back into it. i did get recommeded a few books, so i will let you all know what i pick up, and how i like it! this week is full of working and appointments. and this weekend is packed....
so i see anonymous is back, thanks for your lovely comments, but if you really are not interested in my blog, and only want to critisize me, why do you keep coming back to read my entries? interesting...
anyhow, as for my daily health update hehe. lots of people are commenting about it, wanting tips etc. today, and for the rest of the summer i will run for 20 minutes in the morning, and 20 minutes at night. not too much to over work myself, but enough. i also ate good today, for my snacks (lots of people dont know what to have as a snack) i had one 100 calorie pack of cookies, sliced red pepper, and cut up apples with cinnamon sprinkled on top. did you know a tablespoon of cinnamon a day, reduces the risk of diabetes? i didnt know that!
OH so my sister (who is now 15 as of today) is biking in a bike for kids charity event, and is collecting money. she needs to raise at least $1000 by September 20th i believe, so if anyone is interested in donating any amount of money (as little as $5 helps!) then please let me know by e-mail: mizzkimber88@yahoo.com and i will talk to you about it more through e-mail, on how to donate.
i got my room assignment for college, i cant believe i'm already going into my second year of college! my oh my WAIT for stories, i guarentee things will get interesting, every night at my school is an interesting night (drunken college kids, cell phones being dropped in toilets, public safety coming after us) wow it gets good hehe only about 3 more weeks til i go back, and i cannot WAIT.
uhmmm well there is nothing else left i can think of writing at the moment - gotta get to doing laundry and hang out with my sister for awhile. maybe some video games?

full of creativity
second blog of the night... my oh my....
i never really thought of myself as a creative person, until recently ALOT of people had been saying it to me. i thought about it, what are my hobbies? writing (scripts, poems, songs, storys), drawing, acting, dancing, designing... those are all creative. what else is my hobbies? nothing really haha. shopping, running, hanging out with people... ehh those aren't really creative, oh well. haha. so i thought of a good idea. since i have been babysitting/nannying the past 6 years of my life, i was thinking about writing a book about it. almost like a nanny diaries type thing, different advice, stories etc for babysitters. i'm telling you, there is NEVER a dull moment when i babysit haha.
for you health followers: this is what i recommend. if you're trying to lose weight, stay in shape etc. follow this diet, it really is working for me....
-good breakfast (DONT SKIP IT, ITS IMPORTANT)
-snack 2/3 hrs after (veggies, fruit, grains)
-a nice, but healthy sized lunch (no fast foods! if your on the go, try SUBWAY!)
-another small, healthy snack around 3/4pm
-dinner, make a nice home cooked meal.
i also recommend picking ONE day out of the week where you can splurge a bit. maybe a candy bar for snack? something small, you cant cut out ALL guilty foods!
also- if your not a big fruit/veggie eater, buy this... V8 Fusion! It's great! One 8oz glass, is a FULL serving of Veggies and a FULL serving of fruit, in a glass of juice. I got my family drinking it now! haha. And another thing - GIVE UP THE SODA. Or, drink it one day a week. Other then that, Water, Juice, Lemonade, Iced Tea etc.
WOW I sound like a major health freak now huh haha. OH and excersise. 20 minutes a day. You will start feeling so much better!!
I have lots of stories/experiences I want to share in this blog, but I do know some people read it from ES (www.enchantingstarz.com) great site! Read this blog, and I know some people are in their early teen years. So I am asking your opinion - do you think it's okay to share my age (18) appropriate stories, even though there may be young readers? Should I just warn people? Let me know what you think!
Until next time (later tonight? haha)

this weekend was interesting. had some slight family problems, but i got through them, and my best friend from new hampshire came down, so we spent sunday shopping, i am officially broke! lol. i got lots of cute clothes and accesorries for school. i also got my sister chelsea's birthday present! her birthday is tomorrow! happppy 15th birthday chelsea!
so tonight i worked out on my sister's new bday present, an elliptical. it felt sooo good! haha working out is like awesome.
i can't wait to go back to school. i think i got both the jobs i went for, which is great, both families are wonderful, and i think it will be a fun time working for them. if you think about it, august is going to FLY BY. weeks go so fast for me. this week i have work two days and then doctors/dentists appointments allllll week. should be some good times! this weekend my family is having a yard sale, then i'm also going up near my school to meet for some jobs, and also see some college friends. then six flags on sunday! yay.
next weekend is my big family party we are having at my house. i can't wait, i miss everyone, i haven't seen alot of these people in quite awhile!
well no advice to give anyone right at the moment, since no one is asking for any.... i guess i will say though, i advice everyone to keep a blog! it's a good way to right down and reflect, and you can look back on it and see how much you've grown etc.
also - my sister is doing a bike ride for a cause, so i will post more about that soon, i hope some of you can donate money to help her, it's a great cause for kids with cancer and other illnesses (christi thomas also inspired us both)
thanks for the supportive commenters/readers, i appreciate it so much! hope to hear from more people soon!

it's one hot day today!
It's 91 degrees today here in Massachusetts, it's brutal! It's rising too, feels like 100! Well, I haven't gotten any replies/comments on the blog, but I'll just go along, and assume people are getting something out of it. So today I've been working again, went to Walmart earlier today to get some things for school, a month left of summer! I can't wait to go back. Tonight, when I get home I need to get things ready for the Yard Sale on Saturday, and also I may do a bit of shopping. Tomorrow, I have a few interviews near my college, so that should be interesting!
So, before the end of the summer, I want to do a lemonade stand, to help raise money for childhood cancer. I was inspired by a very amazing child, who earned her angel wings on September 19th, 2006. Her name is Christi Thomas. You can read her mother's blog by visiting http://www.christithomas.blogspot.com. This young girl has touched so many lives in only her 9 years on this earth! She died from a long battle of child hood cancer, and there isn't much I can do now, except try to help raise money to help find a cure for this monster! So, try to help out and do a lemonade stand (which Christi did often) to help raise money!
Poor Madeleine Mcann is still missing, I pray to god everyday she is found soon, safe and well. Keep checking http://www.maddy.coldandbroken.org to keep updated on her!
I hope people will start asking me life questions etc, so I can give my two cents about a topic soon, it can be anything you want! Questions on life, relationships, fashion, celebrity's, anything you'd like and I'd love to try and help!
Lately, I've been into healthy kicks. I gave up soda last Monday, so I've been "soda sober" for 10 days now. It's good I think, soda is so bad for you! I've been drinking LOTS of water, lemonade, juice and iced coffee. I also have been eating alot more veggies as snacks. I have discovered a new love for red & yellow peppers, grape tomatos and asparagas. YUM! You should try to cut out a few sugars from your day, and exchange that with a veggie. You will feel alot healthier!
I've also been trying to make my body better. I now run 2 miles per day, which I have actually felt more in shape, and less tired (even on my BUSY schedule) Try running or even walking 1-2 miles per day, you will feel (and look!) great!
That's it for now!

first post
Okay so after many attempts to create a lasting online journal, here is one to stay (i hope hehe). Life has been hectic for me. I've been so busy this summer working as a Nanny for two different families. It's alot of fun, as those who know me, know I love working with children. But, it's alot of hard work and patience, that's for sure. I've also been busy with things like searching for a job for the fall (when I return to college) and wow has that been hard. It's hard work trying to find someone within the right distance from school. But, I have two interviews this Friday, and I hope it will turn out great, they are both within 15 miles from my school, which is good! I just want a few hours a week, after classes and before the night time fun of college begins!
Speaking of college, I can't wait to go back! Only one more month to go! I can't wait to get back into a dorm room, surrounded by all my friends and not having to worry as much about being home for my family (it's been hard!) and all that stuff. I miss all my college friends SO much. Especially those I don't see to often like the Theater people!
Did I mention I have seen ALOT of movies in the past two weeks? I saw "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" which was beyond funny! I loved it, both Kevin James and Adam Sandler did a great job! I laughed alot. I also saw "Transformers" with Shia LaBouf and Megan Fox, they were phenomonal! Great actors. And then movie was amazing, I loved the Transformers lol. I also saw "The Simpsons Movie" which I didn't think was great at all, but I guess it's because I am not a loyal Simpson's fan! Haha. And the last movie I saw was "Hairspray" which was AMAZING. it's one of my new favorite movies. Every single actor (with the exception of Amanda Bynes, who I find annoying to begin with lol) did a great job, I reccommend this movie especially to anyone who hasn't seen it already! Well that's it for my mini movie rave haha. I am hoping to see "No Reservations" (LOVE ABIGAIL BRESLIN) and "I know who killed me" (starring jail driven Lindsay Lohan lol) soon, they both look great!
Anyways, I am at work right now, only another hour left of babysitting, then I'm off to run a few errands and then probably spending some time with some friends tonight. Feel free to comment if you'd like. I'll post another update tomorrow!
